Exploring our lands: the different regional characteristics of Acqua Orsini

Puglia, one of the most fascinating regions, rich in history and the birthplace of a precious gem: Acqua Orsini. A trip to Puglia is an extraordinary experience that allows you to discover a unique landscape, thousands of years of history, and delicious cuisine. The region is famous for its crystal-clear beaches and water, picturesque villages, and lush countryside.
But what makes Puglia even more special is its food and wine tradition combined with our water, which is an integral part of it.

A journey through the Alta Murgia park to tell our story

Acqua ORSINI was born within the Alta Murgia National Park, a landscape of extreme beauty and variety, full of lush highlands, green flat expanses and numerous waterways. The water resources in its territory, as well as the flora and fauna, constitute its precious wealth to be protected.

The Park has a total area of 68,077 hectares and stretches between the provinces of Bari and Barletta, Andria and Trani, including as many as 13 municipalities within it, including Poggiorsini. The village of Poggiorsini, from which the water originates, owes its name to the Orsini, Dukes of Gravina and an ancient Roman papal family that held possession of the fief for a good 300 years.

Today it is a reality of just a few inhabitants that preserves the flavor of the past, a place that guards the precious source of Acqua ORSINI, the sustainable water that passes on the territory’s values of purity and the intrinsic quality that characterizes its subsoil.
